Central Utah SHRM Membership Scholarship

Central Utah SHRM recognizes that financial circumstances can sometimes make it difficult to maintain professional memberships and participate in continuing education opportunities. Our Membership Scholarship is designed to support HR professionals who are experiencing financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to maintain their Central Utah SHRM membership.

The scholarship is available to current or prospective Central Utah SHRM members and may cover all or a portion of the annual chapter membership dues, based on individual circumstances and available scholarship funds.

Membership in Central Utah SHRM provides valuable opportunities to stay connected to the HR community through professional development, networking, educational programs, local HR resources, and peer connections. We believe financial hardship should not prevent an HR professional from having access to these opportunities.

SHRM Certification Scholarship

Central Utah SHRM is committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our members. To help make professional certification more accessible, we offer a scholarship to eligible chapter members pursuing SHRM certification.

SHRM offers two professional credentials: SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP. Earning a SHRM certification demonstrates your knowledge and expertise in human resources and can support continued professional growth and career advancement.

The Central Utah SHRM scholarship is intended to help offset costs associated with SHRM certification preparation and the certification examination, including eligible study materials, preparation courses, and exam fees.

Scholarship Timeline

• Applications Open: March
• Application Deadline: Mid-April
• Scholarships Awarded: May at the annual FuelHR Conference

We encourage eligible members who are preparing for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP examination to take advantage of this opportunity to invest in their professional development.
