Membership

We are happy to announce our next step into Dual Membership with SHRM. This will help us make better use of resources and ensure that you, as a member of CUSHRM and SHRM, have all the access you deserve to both arms of your membership. A few FAQ’s:

  • Starting July 15, 2021, you will renew BOTH your SHRM and CUSHRM membership by starting here. Below is a special registration link that takes you to the Dual Membership registration page on the SHRM store. 

  • Your email will be your membership ID for both SHRM and CUSHRM. It is essential that you use the same email address for both. Please check all your profile information (email, spelling of your name, etc.) for SHRM and CUSHRM and make sure it is the same for both.

  • In your SHRM profile, make sure you designate “Utah” and “Central Utah SHRM” as your local chapter. You can join multiple chapters but must designate your primary local chapter to link with SRHM.  

  • The overall mission and vision of SHRM are supported by Central Utah SHRM.

Membership Dues:

  • SHRM membership dues are paid on a rolling 12-month basis – meaning if you became a member of SHRM in August, you’ll renew your membership every August.

  • CUSHRM membership has been on a calendar year – running January through December.

  • With this Dual Membership partnership, the timing of your CUSHRM membership will now be aligned with your SHRM membership – meaning you’ll renew (and pay for) both at the same time. 

  • Because of this change, some members may have an overlap or gap in their CUSHRM membership. CUSHRM will provide pro-rated refunds of dues as appropriate.

To Join: Submit an application. New member applications are reviewed and voted upon by the board. With approval,  member will receive a welcome email, and their name will be read in at the following Central Utah Professional Development Meeting.  

Membership:

Membership is not transferable nor assignable.
Membership is held in the individual's name not the organization with which the member is affiliated with.
