Spencer Phillips is the founder of Employer-Lawyer, PLLC., and specializes in handling employment law matters brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state Fair Employment Practices Angencies. He has extensive experience training and counseling employers in day-to-day employment relations issues and compliance with all state and federal employment laws. 

Before founding Employer-Lawyer, Mr. Phillips was a Senior Attorney with Littler Mendelson, P.C., the largest employment law firm in the world. He also served as in-house employment counsel for a national telecommunications provider with 5,000+ employees. Previously in 2003, Mr Phillips was awarded a two-year fellowship seving the legal needs of the deaf community in upstate New York and then later practiced employment litigation with a large private New York firm for three years and served as an adjunct professor at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, where he taught courses in civil rights and American legal history. In 2008, he was appointed by the governor of New York to serve as an administrative law judge for the New York State Division of Human Rights. 

Spencer gives back to his community through volunteer service, serving as a Board Member for the American Fork Chamber of Commerce, the Human Resource Association of Central Utah (now Central Utah SHRM), and the Dyslexia Center of Utah. He is the president of the Winner's Circle Chapter of Business Networking International and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Utah Anti-discrimination and Labor Division and the Utah Labor Commission.

Mr. Phillips earned his law degree from Brigham Young University. When he is not practicing law, you can find him spending time with his family, preferably at the beach.
